Autoimmune Profile (Comprehensive)
The Autoimmune Profile (Comprehensive) provides an early and detailed assessment of immune reactivity that may underlie autoimmune disease.
This blood test evaluates a core group of antibodies associated with systemic and organ-specific autoimmune processes, offering insight into immune activation even before clinical symptoms become advanced.
What it Measures:
This comprehensive antibody screen includes the following analytes:

IgE Mould Allergy Test
The IgE Mould Allergy Test measures immediate-type (IgE-mediated) immune responses to common environmental moulds.
It identifies whether an allergic immune reaction is occurring in response to mould exposure, helping clarify if respiratory, skin, or systemic symptoms are driven by mould-related allergy rather than other triggers.
What it Measures:
This serum test quantifies IgE antibodies directed against 12 common indoor and outdoor mould species known to provoke allergic or inflammatory reactions.
Alternaria tenuis (alternata) - Common outdoor mould associated with asthma; thrives in damp, poorly ventilated areas.

Yes. Chronic inflammation, microbiome imbalance, or environmental exposures can activate both allergy-type and autoimmune responses simultaneously.

Mould can provoke both allergic (IgE) and toxic (mycotoxin-related) immune responses. Identifying the type of reaction is key to effective treatment.

Certain medications (antihistamines, immunosuppressants), supplements and medications may alter results. Your practitioner will guide you on any temporary discontinuations prior to collection.
Never discontinue medication without speaking with your medical practitioner.

Your sample should be collected mid-stream from your first morning urine void before eating or drinking
You must have been asleep for at least 6 hours before completing the sample OR if this cannot be achieved, 4 hours is the minimum
You may wake up during the night but should not get out of bed. You may toss and turn but when you get out of bed, that is when the sample must be taken
Freeze sample immediately after collection
Your sample must be frozen for at least 4 hours before sending. It may be stored in the freezer for up to a week to be posted on the following Monday
Complete the sample over the weekend so it can be posted on a Monday
If you take any medications, discuss this with your practitioner prior to testing
Non-essential medicines and supplements (e.g. magnesium, fish oil, etc) should be ceased 2 days prior to sample collection, as they can affect your results. You may need to discuss this with your practitioner.
If you have collected and need to recollect, you can empty the sample, rinse with warm water and air dry, ready to complete again the following morning
If menstruating, avoid contamination of sample as this can interfere with test results. You may need to wait before collecting. Samples that are visibly contaminated with blood (red, pink, or brown in colour) will be rejected and a new sample requested.
